Pros
- Lowest price point among cushioned covers in this guide, an accessible entry into the category
- Plastic hinges are lighter and quieter to lift and lower than metal hardware
- Same wipeable vinyl and foam cushioning approach as the pricier Ginsey picks
- Black colorway masks scuffing and staining better than lighter finishes
Cons
- Plastic hinges wear out and loosen sooner than the metal hinges on some competing hard seats
- Round fit only, incompatible with elongated bowls
- Foam cushioning is comparable to, not more durable than, the pricier round Ginsey pick despite the lower price
